Their are certain ways to counter white supremacy instead of blaming.

blaming is part of countering because the blaming is more than simply complaining... it's really discovering and knowing the causes of the situation in the first place. You can't fix something unless you know what's wrong with it, and you can't prevent and control it's perpetuation (whether self inflicted or not) unless you know why and by what means it occurred in the first place.

You only look mentally defeated when you say things like, nothing is wrong with the situation and diss other blacks and pretend like- blacks not only placed ourselves here but also pretend that modern institutionalized forms of disenfranchisement are nonexistent. That lead people to believe that blacks are inherently broken mentally, and susceptible to things that are really caused by environments and social stigmas and government agendas.

Figuring this out isn't part of asking white people for anything... it just reinforces self sufficiency as a people. We begged in the 1960's and bought into ideas that America is changing and we are actually privileged to have the same American dreams as everyone else. You can bring up history and figure out advancement at the same time.

Self reliance should be the key factor but that cant be accomplished when you refuse to look within clean house hold irresponsible people accountable and show some type of structure.

lol @ people confusing reasons for excuses. People (well bitter c00ns to be exact) think that it's impossible to be knowledgeable about current issues that play a role in our situations and also focus on solutions to better out situations.

Addressing these things don't hold us back... not taking action is what holds us back... and it's a myth that blacks just simply give up due to finding out about things such as institutionalize disenfranchisement, private prisons, leading discrimination, social stigmas, history, drug wars, and government involvement in killing our leaders and infiltrating any group that's for black advancement.

Most blacks aren't even fully knowledgeable about these things so how is it that that's holding them back?. Nothing holds us back except division and mentality. Being ratchet, ******ish, and hood aren't the only mentalities that are negative for us... being c00ns, black elitist, and lovers of the enemies of blacks are equally if not more damaging for us.

Pretending that history wasn't recent or pretending like shyts sweet in 2013 isn't going to benefit us, get real. knowing and rising above will advance us.

Certain things we have control over like making our community safe so are women and children can go to school work and enjoy themselves each day.

You can't fight white supremacy when your own house is not in order because your enemy will always point out your weaknesses and exploit them.that's what they did with the Trayvon Martin case. They said black people kill each other everyday what's the difference in this case?oh,b/c a non blk person did it this time huh!

If you want to put fear in the hearts of white supremacist then show them that you can maintain some type of structure but not killing one another and putting family values first. Once that's in place and all black people are on the same page then there will be no way for your enemy to point out your weakness.

IMO we dont hold ourselves accountable for self reliance since we dont hold ourselves accountable for other things like abusing alcohol, drugs and violence, so while i agree that some of us have destructive behavior patterns and it really isnt something to link up with we cannot simply say "well stop blaming white man" when it is literally their doings that set us up in this manner of living.

we cannot lift up anybody in the nation when we cant first address morality, thats where i, also IMO think the division begins in the "clean house" holds where some persons seems irresponsible among the others because of conflict regarding young against old as well as genders/gender roles, which all play a big part since they are also directly influenced by white man slavery culture.
