Mayweather's style isn't exactly casual friendly either. Look at how many people complained about the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight being "boring".

I liken it to the "lay and pray" method of MMA. Its effective but not fun to watch. I just dont like the narrative that if you dont worship Floyd you are wrong.

Most of Mayweather's recent fights weren't like that. Seeing someone mostly punching air isn't fun for fans who aren't hardcore and can't appreciate the strong defensive style.

Well yeah he fought out of style purposely to give people what they wanted Saturday. He's a precise counter puncher and basically head hunted the second half of the fight to entertain.
