the thing with Otto is that he isnt a good defender.

Joe Engles is a better version of Otto, despite not having the same level of talent.

I agree that coaching is an issue with this team, but player accountability is up there.

Breh, Joe Ingles is doing stuff Otto should be doing :snoop:

And Mitchell is already a better closer and has shown higher IQ this year than I've seen from Beal... even the post-2016 good handles Beal.

In my ideal scenario, the front office is shaken up. Then the coach before we move anyone in the Wall-Beal-Otto-Oubre tandem. Satoransky should be a core rotation piece and he and KO will be easy to retain because they're restricted in 2019 and teams won't have cap room. It'll be the opposite of the Otto madness the Nets pulled.

Otto's not good one on one defensively unless the man he's guarding isn't quick. Oubre and even Satoransky are better on ball IMO.

Off-Ball as a team defender is where Otto is valuable.

If Leonard is going to leave. Otto and that 15th pick might do it. Pop is not going to rebuild. Maybe throw in sato. Pop loves guys that can pass, shoot and play D

Leonard ain't leaving... and leaving SA is leaving money on the table.

I wouldn’t mind attempting Morris and Ian for whiteside

I doubt they get anything better than that.

We need to move Morris. Last year of his deal and there is no way we can afford him

Why not just let Morris walk?

Whiteside has a bad attitude.

If Spo, who's a good coach is done with him, then why the hell would you want Brooks with him?

I think PG13 is a lock to LA Lakers

Kawhi and Pop have a good relationship. If they can mend things with Aldridge, I think they’ll mend things with one of their own guys. So I don’t see him being available.

Our issues offensively are due to no system. I’m struck by how the Jazz are playing. Brooks has nothing on guys like Snyder.

Mitchell is a rookie and is already a better closer with higher IQ than Beal.

Ingles is playing like how we thought Otto would be playing.

:snoop:

Whiteside is too toxic. We already have Gortat who’s bytched over touches. Sure Hassan is 5 years younger but his contract is :damn:

I’d rather get a guy like Dedmon for a couple years.

Wizards need a Point Forward that can roll with the second unit and still be effective. Aaron Gordon is going to be that guy. Al Horford won’t be able to handle him. They need to buy in now.

If the Clippers want to give up those picks and some role players that expiring for Beal I’d look into that too. They need to take Mahinmi’s contract. Teams are going to start calling after this series.

Beal and Wall are untouchable

It’s otto and Morris on the market

I am okay with Otto getting traded this summer.
It’s just so frustrating because Otto has the talent to be a consistent and efficient 18 PPG scorer but for whatever reason he just can’t achieve his potential. I used to make excuses for Otto: Wall and Beal are too ball dominant, Brooks doesn’t run enough plays for him, etc but whenever Oubre checks in he makes an immediate impact (good or bad). There just isn’t an excuse for Otto disappearing for large stretches of the game.

Yeah, and this ties into the coaching issue - this halfcourt O he brought with him from OKC needs some major tweaking. Kenny and Chuck spoke on it a few days ago. Letting Wall and Brad play hero ball most of the game doesn't cut it, especially in the postseason. (41 shots between them last night...yet they combined for only 3 shots in the game's last 3 minutes.)
