Another year, another exit before the Conference Finals... and it'll be 40 years next year since the last Conference or NBA Finals appearance.

Grunfail is never leaving.

The same team will be returning with the same coach who has no system.

Bullets have their 2018 1st and 2nd round picks. The only avenue aside from the veteran minimum they'll be able to add to the roster. I like Robert Williams at #15. This franchise is desperate for a young PF or C.

$124M in salaries is already committed. Meaning they'll be $3-4M over the luxury tax again next year. Only notable free agent is Mike Scott.

Priority should be dumping Jason Smith, Jodie Meeks, and either Mahinmi or Gortat's salaries. Don't even care for Morris.

Only guys I really care about are Wall, Beal, Otto, Oubre, and Satoransky. Simply put, the guys drafted to this squad and who've never played for another NBA team.

These are the salaries of Washington Wizards players this season

This was the season for the Wizards. Boston is derailed with injuries, Lebron is on the worst team he’s been on in several years (maybe ever), Philly is too inexperienced, but in true Washington fashion they blew it.

Hopefully Grunfeld and Brooks get the fukk out of town.

Do us a solid :blessed:
Ain’t like y’all gon do shyt anyway :francis:

You do know the Wiz are paying

Mahinmi - $16M
Gortat - $13.5M
Smith - $5.5M (Player Option)

$35M for 3 Centers who are all 31 and older :damn:

Bullets need wings and youth in front court. Not a nikka who struggles to defend small ball and has a bad attitude making $27M per year!

It’s a lot of available guys too that ended up going overseas. Grunfeld’s hands were tied with so much money being owed to the bigs. It’s weird how all the blame hasn’t even been put on him. I’ve only heard Stephen A Smith and Max Kellerman mention him and Scott Brooks.

They need look into how to get Aaron Gordon. I’d trade anyone but Wall for him. He’s waiting for the right opportunity and I think he’s going to take the next step.

I feel there's a lot of opportunity to restructure this off season same way Toronto did and got better. With kawhi and Paul George out there we can do sign and trade for one of our big three. With Gortat expiring and an unhappy Whiteside, a coming off injury Cousins and an Aaron Gordon moving there's chances to upgrade our bigs. With the upcoming draft we have a chance to add Robert Williams who can be good defensively at the 4 or 5 like an Ibaka / Capela mix. He can come in with defensive responsibility on an established team same way Toronto got OG and Boston got semi and garbuschen.

I think PG13 is a lock to LA Lakers

Kawhi and Pop have a good relationship. If they can mend things with Aldridge, I think they’ll mend things with one of their own guys. So I don’t see him being available.

Our issues offensively are due to no system. I’m struck by how the Jazz are playing. Brooks has nothing on guys like Snyder.

Mitchell is a rookie and is already a better closer with higher IQ than Beal.

Ingles is playing like how we thought Otto would be playing.

:snoop:

Whiteside is too toxic. We already have Gortat who’s bytched over touches. Sure Hassan is 5 years younger but his contract is :damn:

I’d rather get a guy like Dedmon for a couple years.

I am okay with Otto getting traded this summer.

Otto is probably the best trade asset we have. Depends on what’s coming back. A

And Wiz have no other wing beside KO. And Oubre played like dog shid the last 40 games offensively.

I’m 100% sure Otto will be playing closer to his contract under a coach with an actual system.

Otto should be playing PF.

But beside the coaching issue, he never is breaking to attack. It’s inexcusable that KO who can only go left is getting FTs and more FGAs.

the thing with Otto is that he isnt a good defender.

Joe Engles is a better version of Otto, despite not having the same level of talent.

I agree that coaching is an issue with this team, but player accountability is up there.
