I ignored everybody talking about how I needed to check for Spitta circa like 2007. Assumed he was some random southern rapper like Plies or something.

Then Pilot Talk came out.

I would definitely start there with albums.

Mixtape wise: Covert Coup, This Ain't No Mixtape, Verde Terrace, How Fly, Smokee Robinson, 30000 Feet, Return To The Winner's Circle, and This Ain't No Mixtape Should get you started.

There's a lot filler/mediocre songs, but I'll put Elevator Music, Power Button, Get it Yaself and Blown Away against any of Spitta's best stuff prior or after.
