Its been since Weekend @ Burnies because he was spitting his ass off on that one. Only songs I really got that same vibe of old Spitta as far as lyrics were on Showroom & Chasing Papers. In fairness to him he is experiencing with more flows now than he ever did before.

Since the beginning, it always seemed like Spitta was trying to change up his rhyme scheme & rhyme placement with each project. I always felt it was unnecessary, but in alot of instances it was for the better.

Regardless, he's far from wack, but just a few notches below where he used to be. He still knows how to make dope music.

lol, yea I meant experimenting too. I don't know, my favorite version of Curren$y was the style he used from the "month after month" mixtape series all the way through Jet Files. He didn't really start switching up flows and the way he placed his words until The Smokee Robinson mixtape and it seems like on every release now he switches it up. I understand him switching it up because that was 08-09, if he was still rhyming like that in '12, people would be crying for him to switch his flow up, shyt they were already doing it back then. As for duval, dude is just on some "i was a fan of Spitta back then before more people knew about him, so I hate him now".

Agree. I feel like Pilot Talk 2 was the peak as afar as lyrically. It's probably due to the fact that he spends minimal time on his recording process. Saw an interview where he said that he approached this album like he does every album- writing & recording the songs in a day or something on those lines. I mean the album is still AOTY so far me but if he took longer to perfect the songs, the shyt could've been next level. Imagine these beats with MCing on the levels of 'Michael Knight' or 'Airbourne Aquarium'...:takedat:

I think ill be legit pissed if Currensy doesn't do 100k first week because even if you don't think its a great album ( a lot of us do ) he put a lot of thought into it, worked hard on it, and didn't compromise his style. People can support that with 10 bucks to send a message if nothing else.
