Of course not, but his passive aggressive display is egregious and uncalled for, it wasn't some grand gesture on his part, he just decided to let me go first. Obviously this is really neurotic, but this is the Curb thread. I am not going to personally thank every person that performs some sort of unasked pointless social custom, and wants it acknowledged.
