Shelley Berman who played Larry's Dad has 'Past Away'.

Sad news he was a great character and actor.

Curb Your Enthusiasm's Shelley Berman dies at 92

Haven't heard anything g about wether or not he will appear in the next series. He wasn't mentioned in the 3 leaked episodes.

There is a 5 part podcast just been released called 'Origins' which charts the history of Curb and has interviews with cast & crew. It's on iTunes etc.

I started watching from the beginning to see what the hype was all about.

The only laugh out loud moments for me were him grabbing on to the chubby girl's flabby stomach when he fell off the roof

He and Cherly pretending to miss the party at Ted and Mary's house

and GOAT: him strolling in the room with the hole in the sheet when he was gonna hook up with the hasidic. The sight of that hole on his shoulder wrapped in the sheet took me out

That was before I got into the show, and years ago I watched Season 1 on DVD, so S2 is all new to me.
