Finally took down King Dice

Currently making my way through the game, on Isle III now. It's a good game but the randomization in some boss fights can fukk you up entirely beyond your fault, in particular when the fights features randomly generated platforms (the dragon, the honeybee) on top of all the randomized attacks.

With bosses like that it feels entirely too much like I beat them because of luck of the draw rather than beating them with my skill. Those are the parts where the game is just frustrating instead of challenging.

I beat the game about a week ago, the Devil was actually disappointing considering what I had to do to get to him

Im doing expert mode now cleared the frogs, the vegetables, and the blue ball

I think they made a mistake and accidentally switched Isle II and III. The latter is a breeze compared to some of the shyt the game throws at you on the second Isle even with the additional bosses.

Got around to beating King Dice and The Devil today. Had to check my final death count, shyt was at 604.

I know over half of them shyts happened on Isle II too. That's where the randomization of different elements in the boss fights can fukk a perfect run up at any given moment.

Finally picked this up on PSN. Great production value, gameplay, and graphics, but the difficulty

First boss I got to was this sunflower nikka and it took me forever to beat him. The sheer amount of shyt they expect you to dodge

You can via upgrades but they reduce your DPS.
