CALI
damn. Im at 200 and about halfway through.

Congrats breh. Thats an accomplishment.
It's not too hard once you figure out the right setup for each boss.

The dragon was the hardest boss to me cause up to that point I just used the starting weapon without checking out anything else. I must have died damn near 100 times on him alone. That boss forced me to explore the options given to me by the game, which is when I found out how the chaser weapon destroys the dragon. From that point forward it's just learning attack patterns and which weapons and ability works best for each boss.

Great game tho, old school as fukk and a sick art style.

Finally got time to sit down and beat the game.

Could've finished faster but went for all A-Ranks.

The game actually got easier as it progressed, but that might just be because I finally started using round-a-bout. Seemed like trash at first but it's clutch once you learn to use it.

Netflix to Adapt 'Cuphead' Into Animated Comedy Series

Care for a cup?

Netflix and King Features Syndicate, a part of Hearst Entertainment and Syndication, are bringing the massively popular indie platforming game Cuphead to the streaming platform with the new animated series The Cuphead Show!

Cuphead, developed and published by indie game studio Studio MDHR, launched in 2017 to mass critical acclaim. The game features hand-drawn animations inspired by the classic Fleischer cartoons of the 1930s (and also offers up a hefty challenge for players). The game has sold over four million copies and won the best independent game award at the 2017 Game Awards and a BAFTA Games award for its music.

The new animated comedy will expand upon the characters and world of the game, which centers on titular hero Cuphead and his brother Mugman who make a deal with the devil in a high-stakes gambling match.

C.J. Kettler (Carmen Sandiego) will exec produce for King Features while Cuphead creators (and brothers) Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will serve as executive producers for Studio MDHR. The series will be produced by Netflix Animation and is executive produced by Emmy and Annie award winner Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts). Cosmo Segurson (Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling) serves as co-executive producer.

The Cuphead Show! marks the first long-form animated series production for King Features (which also own rights to popular comic properties such as Popeye, Garfield and Archie) since announcing their strategy to build character franchises across multiple platforms in February.

Finally went ahead and beat The Devil. Not too hard once I figured out what to do. Took about 20 minutes of tries. I use no spoilers/guides, so have to learn each phase. Kinda meh ending. Hopefully the DLC will flesh things out.

It's 15.99 now on the Switch (only platform I own that it's available on), thinking about going ahead and biting. I know it's a really difficult game (not my strong suit), but I already have a $5 eshop credit and I don't see it getting much cheaper than that :lupe:
