They weren't easy Daigo.No...no it wasn't.
Are you trolling or just suck? WTF is it with people calling these 2 in particular hard? That shyt was easy.
Boy oh boy, if you those levels were hard....They weren't easy Daigo.
It wasn't hard as in not knowing what to do hard but hard as in "Ugh why'd I do that?" hard especially with only 3 HP.
The hardest part of the flying level was near the end with the UFOs. I'm sure you beat those two while scoffing at your customers asking about Intel CPU's huh?
This is all ranked assuming you’re using smoke dashes since it’s basically leaps and bounds better than any other equipment.
S:
A:
- Devil: pretty difficult final boss with a lot of forms and annoying as hell minion spawns. Attacks are difficult to dodge even when you learn them. The later phases get progressively more difficult and the very last form requires INSANE amounts of precision and clutch factor to not choke out.
- Grim Matchstick (Dragon): pretty close contender for hardest boss in the game and way harder than other 2nd area bosses. Walking fires have unpredictable arcs and movement. The last phase fireballs that split when fired upon makes your life insanely difficult. Fire jumpers in phase 2 are also incredibly unpredictable especially when you have to keep track of platforming and attacking. Cloud RNG can screw you over pretty badly too at the worse times. Even with experience, it’s hard to avoid the attacks of this boss at any stage.
- Dr. Kahl’s Robot: hardest shmup boss. Has a good amount of things that force you into a smaller space or mess with your movement. First phase forms are incredibly unpredictable and puts your small-form-factor plane transformation skills to the test. Homing bombs that have AOE detonation also suck. Forced parries aren’t pleasant to deal with either.
- Perilous Pier: easily the hardest run and gun and the only run and gun on this list (honorable mention status) because it is just so friggen difficult. The octopus auto-scroll segment can eat up all 3 hits if you are not on top of your A game. Also features Larry the lobster lifeguard, the most hateable enemy in the game.
- Phantom Express: the easiest in S tier but still difficult. Requires a lot of trial and error to get past each unique form. The skeleton phase hurts you when you jump and the dropped bricks can kill a good run quick.
B:
- Beppi the Clown: first true wall of the game. Long battle and requires specific weapon (shotgun) to make the fight tractable. Each form has deadly attacks that can be hard to avoid even with experience. Also will terrify you if you’re afraid of clowns.
- Rumor Honeybottoms (Honeybee): Lots of forced movement throughout the fight, platforming RNG makes the fight randomly hard. Dodging the torpedos fired in phase 3 is highly dependent on platform spawn luck. Beating the final form requires a solid grasp on game mechanics.
- Djimmi the Great (Genie): fairly difficult shmup boss that requires good aiming and solid use of small-plane transformation dodging. Has several attacks that are randomized.
- Baroness Von Bon Bon (Candy House Lady): none of the candy subordinates are terribly difficult but does require some trial and error to learn their attack patterns. The real challenge is when the castle starts moving.
- Hilda Berg (Blimp/Moon): a fairly difficult fight for how early it is. She has a ton of transformations and some deceptively fast attacks (bull charge) and the final moon phase can be difficult due to the UFOs.
C:
- Captain Brineybeard (Pirate): not terrible for a third area boss. Using the right weapons help and he doesn’t really switch forms until the very end. All of his callouts are fairly easy to learn and he gives a lot of meter through parry-able projectiles.
- Wally Warbles (Dad Bird and Son Bird): medium level plane boss. Has the first bullet hell sequence but all attacks are fairly tractable and the bomb drop, which you get right before it, does a number on it.
- Cagney Carnation (Flower): has a variety of attacks that can take time to learn. Can overwhelm the screen with projectiles and requires you to pay attention to everything on the screen. Hurtbox is in a weird place and requires you to learn how to angle shots or switch weapons quickly.
- Werner Werman (Tom and Jerry): fairly easy world 3 boss. Attacks are easy to evade with smoke dash and hurtbox is easy to shoot at. All 3 forms have predictable attacks.
- Sally Stageplay: easy boss for how late she is in the game. Few hard to avoid attacks and hurtbox is placed in your direct line of fire.
- Phear Lap (UFO Betting Horse): tricky mid-finale shmup boss. Requires you to keep an eye on the blue horse racers near the bottom of the screen and can really eat up your health/end your run if you’re not careful.
- Tipsy Troop (3 alcoholic drinks): tricky at first due to each glass having a different attack but is the first boss in the finale.
- Cala Maria (Ursula): easiest shmup boss. Low health and easy to learn attacks. Easily the easiest of the world 3 bosses.
- Ribby and Croaks: troublesome early boss but has easy to learn attacks. Attack patterns are pretty predictable and the slot machine segments are pretty easy to learn.
- King Dice: not a difficult boss, getting to him is why he’s remotely hard. Just make sure you wipe off the sweat off your hands and time your air dashes and parries correctly.
- All Casino Bosses except Phear Lap and Tipsy Troop: mostly one or two patterns only. Some can be beaten on first try if you’re careful.
- Goopy Le Grande (Blue Ball): a step up from Root Pack. Literally just jumps around. If you’ve bought invincible dashes by now, it’s a cakewalk.
- Root Pack: first boss. Extremely easy. Predictable patterns. Free parries.
It's not hard really. It's more like me doing something and messing up but the pattern is easy.Boy oh boy, if you those levels were hard....
yea if u can guess which side he attacks from first u can just hug the corner of the screen and cheese himStill stuck on King Dice (parrying the cards) Anyone know if there's a cheese for that?

I actually felt the same way about the game. I ran through the first 2 worlds like nothing. I can't say I ran into a single boss that I would consider difficult.Im actually running through this game. Anyone complaining likely hasn't played a nintendo system since N64.
And while this game is cool, its basic as fukk compared to Super Mario 3D world or even the New Super Mario Bros.
nikkas need to get they gaming weight up.

Sure I had a bunch of deaths, but the bosses run the same exact routes each time. The whole game boils down to memorizing fairly easy patterns.
Not a bad game, but it isn't replacing the classics like a lot of people have been pretending.
Again....$20 is the right price for what this game offers. Personally I think the game is over hyped due to the presentation/art direction.
