On top of that we acknowledge them as Black Americans. No one disputes that. We are just saying that they are not African Americans, which is a clearly defined group of people.
Agreed. I still think that is weird. Yes, they are "black" due to skin/race -- but in America - "Black American" was alway for ADOS. So, they would be their parent's county/ethnicity - American.
I don't see them as apart of Black America or Native Black American Culture or Community. They would be their sub-group.
