Crowd reaction shots is the worst shyt ever

I really wish AEW wouldn't do them.
1. It's been a very WWE thing for about a decade now and it's been terrible with them
2. They end up missing spots every show to cut to random fans who very often are not reacting at all. The PPV had them cut to a dude who was deep into his phone, not even looking at the ring, looking completely unenthused during the tag title match and then missed a pivotal double superkick spot in the process.
I have no fukking clue why WWE does it, the shots are almost exclusively of bored, groaning, or disgusted fans. And it's been that way since like....2010-2011 when they really started making a point to do the cutaways regularly.

Thing that kills me is half the time the shots are horrible and end up with somebody looking bored, or they realize they're on TV and forget about the action.
Like in the segment before Vince's limo blew up and he got booed out the building. They cut to a fan doing the thumbs down and booing....soon as he realizes he's on TV he flips the bird and they quickly cut away

This is one of the reasons why I can't watch Lucha shows. Mexico looooooves to show the crowd all the time.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to televised wrestling. WWE does this shyt ALL the fukkin time and it really takes you out the moment. The worst part of this is when there's a pre-taped segment and in the middle of it they cut to a shot of the audience looking at the tron screen. They did this shyt when Firefly Funhouse segments came on and it irked me all the time. The camera work on Edge's return was AWFUL too cus they kept cutting to the crowd's reaction every 2 seconds and the entire thing felt so choppy. And they fukked around and missed the first spear of 2020 just cus someone in the back decided to cut to the crowd.
