hoping they dont overuse CGI, like i felt they did before
You must be thinking about a DIFFERENT movie. There wasn't any CGI in Crouching Tiger Hidden. It was done with hidden string effects. Much like in Kill Bill.

basically those scenes and that one scene where they were fighting in the courtyard. Its dope though
It's got one of the best fight scenes of all time kid..
Same here it lacked impact to me shyt seemed to balletI don't mind Wire Fu I just didn't like CTHD's use of it. Action scenes were just boring no impact floaty shyt.

there was no CGI in the movie, you might be thinking of house of flying daggers :rosslol:
as for this movie, paags back on the big scene in full effect.
obv they use computer generation to take the wires out. I didnt know I had to be technical here when talking about the fighting scenes and what not, not the minor editing.lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo this is false breh
source number one: IMDB
The actors almost invariably performed their own stunts. CGI was used to remove the wires holding them up.

I kinda agree, that portion of the plot dedicated to the relationship between Jen (the young aristocrat) and Lo (the guy from the desert) seemed a little corny to me. I need to watch it again as well though.might've just been the result of being young, the action scenes were cool but I did not get into the story at all, it almost seemed sitcommy/melodramatic but again, it deserves a new watching.
