Barely made it through the film. The wire work was just ridiculous and the film was flat out boring for the most part.

My mistake was taking this film as a martial arts film at the time, which it isn't. Its more a fantasy romance flick with elements of wuxia in there.

But hey, it looks pretty and sounds nice

I found it quite boring, to be completely honest. Maybe I wasn't old enough to appreciate it.

I like Donnie Yen though so I'll give it a rewatch to be prepared for this one.
