Do you think Pats are doing publicity stunts with receivers playing cornerback ?
We Were desperately forced to mid-season. Jets are in camp! Bring someone in that is a specialist at the position so they can grow with the team into the season instead of using a starting CB at WR.

He's will probably play a Deion Sanders or Champ Bailey role on offense, like they did in the past, y'all making it seem like he's really going to be playing receiver like that.

He had experience at WR at FSU. CB and WR as positions are pretty interchangeable. Deion Played WR, Dale Carter played WR, Champ Bailey played WR, Charles Woodson played WR, Troy Brown played CB, etc.
I doubt they're looking for him to be their #1.
I don't see the point with it though. Why not just sign a WR off the scrap heap that is better suited to play the position?
Deion was okay but Dale Carter only caught six passes in his career. Woodson has caught two. Champ Bailey has caught four.
Rarely does it turn out to be any real factor.

I don't think the Jets are looking to him to be that factor much more than you pointed out with those past DB turned receivers.
If anything, they'll use him to run or fake reverses for the most part.
But dudes in here want him to know the entire route tree...."just because" they're buying into the Jets being a circus.
I'm REALLLLLLLLYYYYY looking forward to seeing the JEts defensive line this year.

nikka they had a bunch of injuries last year Ras I, chung, Bodden, McCourty and Arrington were all injured during the season. Beli didnt go into camp trying out Edelman as a DB.

This nikka aint Coherent enough to put a rubber on after 5 Kids and 5 baby mommas years ago, he aint even smart enough to remember all his children names and he gonna be smart enough to learn an NFL offense? C'mon Jets fans u better than that. There are literally hundreds of plays to do for offense. unless I am wrong, I kind of believe that defense is easier to understand and play, and Defense is what he's done since he started playing football.
