Everyone’s sacred Medicare and Medicaid don’t pay shyt and sparse populations make these rural hospitals run at a loss. Scheduled services are a big money driver for these facilities. How may surgeries do you think are scheduled at these facilities. It’s probably just strictly ER, which is a money loser.

Urgent cares and transferring urgent cases to the closest major hospital makes more sense for areas that can’t support a hospital.

Its not a jobs program. The money is primarily lining the pockets of the CEOs and investors of those weapons manufacturers. To them the jobs are just an after thought. Lets see how much of that money goes to stock buybacks and dividends in the coming years.
