He's just too serious. I remember in his podcast a couple years ago Jericho was talking about the time Punk wouldn't tag him into a match at a house show because Punk was pissed that he and Edge were busy watching a hockey game on a TV backstage right before the match and thus in Punk's eyes Jericho and Edge weren't taking this seriously.Why did punk break a tv monitor because a divas match was bad?

Who is Punk to question Chris Jericho of all people? Jericho is a living legend.
Legends gotta get called out on their bullshyt, too. Jericho was probably too distracted thinking about his upcoming Fozzy
tour and wasn't taking the sport seriously enough. 
Thankfully Y2J successfully reinvented himself after all those 
failed returns/runs.

Punk just takes life too seriously. We're talking about the same person who stopped talking to someone because they asked for a friend's phone number. 
Maybe if he took that MMA fight as seriously as everything else he might have gotten past the first round.
Punk is a huge hockey fan as well, but he was able to put that shyt to the side for the love of the sport.
