Aside from mixing, I am now fully Ipad producing.

fukkin love it. I'm out the house 7am-7pm so I be sat in the car, office or whatever on breaks making beats. Loaded 45GB of samples onto it and all my drums etc.

i keep hearing nothing but great things about beatmaker 2
Well worth it. I don't use the stock sounds but they are not too bad for starting off with. I only use my custom kits on it now, It's a bit of back and forth importing stuff to start with but once you got everything loaded up your good to go. The sample chop facility is great. I would pick it up and give it a try.
i think i will. im used to importing anyway...i bring a lot of my own sounds into nano studio, which i forgot to mention above,...
nano studio is good aswell, plus having the synths on hand is a bonus, people used to hate on BM2 for the lack of synths but now with Audiobus it's no longer a problem, easy to setup as per below. I use Sunrizer.
I was going to make a video of making a beat on BM2 but I don't have time to do decent one and edit etc.
As below vid shows though you can do some good stuff with it.

About 90% of my beats are done on BeatMaker2.
Wow really, it's proven then. BeatMaker 2 is the go to app for Soul & Electronic Bangers!! lol
Thinking about copping a iPad, beat maker 3 And a midi controller

I tried my atom with my iPad and it didn't have enough power. I had great success in the distant past with arturia minilab
a lot of apps support Bluetooth midi too so if you have an mpc live, or one the Bluetooth korg controllers they'll work too
