Well I yes I would agree if this was happening in a country that has a white/light skin majority but this is west Africa. The only contact they have with white society is through Hollywood movies and even that's being replaced by nollywood. It's a black society with a black elite class and black role models. I'm perplexed really. I would understand if it was India because the elite are disproportionately light skinned aryans and there's a cast system that discriminate against dark skinned tribes but this Nigeria, where 99 percent of people are black

The reason is white supremacy and c00ns. Pay a couple c00ns to use a product throw money behind marketing the product to black people and capitalize on the self hatred whites have put in us. Definitely have to educate the babies on colorism as a sickness among black people
