Activision doesn't have to sell the IP to Sony for them to use it.
I think we all know Crash Bandicoot in UC4 and they were not credited at all in the credits. The logo, name and even playable level or two(although slightly altered) is in the game.
Just wait... Sony's E3 conference is kicking off to a great start.. then suddenly... the room goes black, the "Naughty Dog" logo shows on dimly lit screen.
*Super loud Gasp is let out in the crowd*
*Crash Bandicoot Music plays*
*Crowd erupts with screaming and crying. Someone catches a heart attack*
*Yoshida comes out on stage and says "We no you rove us long time and I courendto wait to shou yu this gaemu"
*Release date is 2020 on PS5.5*
*Meachthemonster makes 5 threads about how Crash sucks and Blinx the Timesweeper was a deeper game than Crash*
People liked it cause it was dope. Has nothing to do with nostalgia. What really needs a remake is Pandemonium. That shyt would be absolute fire with today's tech imo.
It's a great series. I played a gang of platformers(3d) back then and the ones I loved the most were this, Ape Escape, Banjo and Conker's bad Fur Day. Has nothing to do with Nostalgia.
Honestly Spyro would make a lot more sense considering the type of games people play nowadays. Give him some special attacks, more open levels, some mini-games, do another Ratchet & Clank on it.
