Damn. Didn't Puff & BIG hate his guts?
I wasn't a big fan, but he had an ILL unique voice and he held his own on tracks with dudes like Big and Redman. Some might say he'll only really be remembered for one song, but that's more than like 90% of rappers who just get forgotten - plus Puff's success is forever linked to Mack. And you could say the same for BIG and Mase and everyone who ate off Bad Boy.
RIP.
46 is so fukking young

and all kinds of smilies directed at anyone mentioning anything about him even being dope outside of the "Flava In Ya Ear" remix. And yes, the original was hardly acknowledged. I remember people always clowning Mack and when people mention Bad Boy's run, his name was nowhere to be found. Now people wanna talk about how Puff did him dirty, we as fans played a hand in that too. Craig was treated like the adopted child by us as fans. I remember his line about not being around next year being flipped to clown him on some "Most ironic lines in Hip Hop" type deal. Many couldn't even tell you the name of his debut without looking it up.
