It was cool. I knew and lived through a lot of this but I didn't realize the affect it had on black women more than anything. White doctors calling police on pregnant black women who smoked crack rather than get them treatment was fukked up. The way the media was weaponized to target and punish us was really fukked up. Evil incarnate man. A lot of people deserve eternal punishment for the shyt they did back then.

It was a white nurse. fukken demon bytch. Is that bytch still alive?
I didn't know any thing about that crack baby stuff. I legit thought that was an epidemic.

I said doctors b/c I knew she wasn't the only one just a powder keg. Racist white nurses like that demon bytch set a president and started a snitching campaign and a narrative across the country for white racist fukkin nurses and the general medical staff to be used as tools for locking up hundreds of thousands of black women instead of trying to get them treatment. Betraying the very oath they took b/c they hate black people so much along with the media.

I honestly don't even know how something like that is ethical. Did they not have medical record laws at that time?

This documentary is great, they need to do one on heroin too.

This country just doesn't care when it comes to black people. The white people who did recognize it being ethically wrong, who do you think they gonna complain to? The ethics board who are made up of white racists has very little contact with black people to begin with, have no empathy or sympathy, and already think a way about us. That's why a room full of white people making decisions that affect everyone is always dangerous. They'll let crimes run rampant and communities burn to the ground as long as it doesn't affect them and they so twisted they'll justify it by saying they were protecting their own community. When white folks get scared laws change and narratives are formed. White fear surpasses ethics, laws, human decency, and respect. They are true demons and will justify anything. Mooney said it kind of perfectly.

Between the Vinmoonsu and Reelblack channels on YouTube, it’s more than enough documentaries about crack and drugs in general. Those channels are like time capsules from the 70s, 80s, and 90s cause they are real time reports and documentaries from when it was going on. I can’t even bring myself to watch this Netflix special cause I know it won’t be hitting on shyt.

Some of these same reports are in the doc. It actually shows a pretty accurate picture of how and what happened on a political level to the street level. It's pretty accurate and worth a watch.

I thought it was a good doc. In fact I enjoyed it more than that other one, Planet Rock that came out like 10 years ago or so.

I lived in NYC as a little kid around that time so I remember what it was like back then.

fukked up what the AmeriKKKan government did to its own citizens and no one has been held to account for it.
