Im so tired of hearing people trying to find out "whats wrong with the NBA." Nothing is wrong with it. It's beyond fukking awesome right now.

There have been plenty of years of boring basketball. This aint one of those years. Give that shyt a break.

It's especially silly when folks are pining for shyt that has never really been a part of the league. This is what happens when entitled people aren't getting what they want out of the league so they try to prop their displeasure up like it's massive issue holding the league back. When in reality they just don't like basketball like that and the player/team that brought them in ain't poppin no more so something must be wrong with the league.

Yeah the NBA is boring. And this coming from me, a die hard fan.

In the 90s even though Da Bulls ran shyt, you ALWAYS had those 5 or 6 teams that made you say :francis: "idk those Blazers look like they could win it all this year". This is simply not the case anymore. You know it always gonna be the Warriors, Spurs, and what ever team LeBron is on. Not to mention the quality of basketball being played right now, just boring :russell:

we're never going to see another rivalry in the NBA like in the 90's and mid 2000's. dudes don't have time to waste hating each other when they're all making bank.

People stay pushing this fallacy. Name those 5/6 teams and tell me the non-nostalgic difference between them and Houston, LA, CHI, MIA, ATL.

Talent. Those teams in the 90s were deep. You can't say ATL, MIA, LAC, etc has the talent to take out the Warriors or the Cavs with a straight face. Those runner up teams in the 90s were just simply better and entertaining than the ones we have today :yeshrug:

They spent the last 15 years trying to clean up what they considered a bad image because in their minds a more youthful hip hop'ish braided and doo rag'd looking league was intimidating to their white season ticket holders and bad for business.

Cowherd lame ass spent most of the time during this period championing the nba taking these actions to rid the league of Allen Iverson types.

Ya'll made your squeaky clean good lil safe nikka bed, now lay in it......

Yep.

Yeah these cats shyt on anything that isn't NFL related these days it seems. MLB is dying and NBA is boring they stay trying to shyt on the other pro sports when the NFL is the weakest product out the crew.

Hard to have villains, when all these players are soo damn friendly with one another.

Blame money and free agency. Both aspects make players bounce around from team to team, and its hard to preserve true hated rivalries with one another if players keep coming and going. In the golden years, players would always stay with the same team (unless traded, released, retired).

I commend Kobe and Duncan for doing this.

Yes it is. Everyone knows that the NBA is becoming more popular. Especially with younger and more diverse demographics.

Becoming more popular in relative terms....if you're team sucks in the NFL but looks decent in the NBA then you watching the NBA more than NFL simple as that.

"Ratings won't boost until NFL season ends that's just the way it is" ........Really?! You dont say:krs:

Wasn't this way before during the mid-90's.

Its true we already know who's coming out in the East and the West every year.

The only dudes I keep hearing about our Curry and LeBron...some other dudes get mentioned but that seems like what the NBA is.

I'm pretty sure it was the same in the 90s but even if it wasn't that was because of Michael Jordan and Michael Jordan only.

And I really don't get why you're comparing the 2? In America, the NFL is the only tv show in the last decade that keeps rising with ratings. Everything is "declining" because the rating system is dated. And people are dropping cable.
