it wasn't a bad show. anime fans just have a tendency to be overtly emotional and protective of the shyt. motherfukkers be trying to gatekeep shyt like their whole personalities revolve around and is defined by it. Want the old shyt? go watch the anime, instead of bytching about an adaptation that is actually far from bad

Vicious was the only contention point I had with the show. It wasn't elite television but it was entertaining enough

I'm on the 5th episode and I don't find it to be bad. The actors really did a great job and put in the effort. There's definitely some flaws with the pacing and tone at times but the negativity was going to be there regardless. Too many fans are going to shyt on any live action anime on GP so it's not even worth it to make one.

looks like the losers got what they wanted. and with this its on to the next show to bytch about , the work never stops :banderas:

facts. these dudes think bytching about shyt makes them seem insightful or knowledgeable. it's quite comical :pachaha:

Nothing about this looked good from the previews. Some of the most unnatural looking action I've seen in a minute. I couldn't even bring myself to see how bad it could go and this ain't even my favorite anime.

Looks like the people have spoken...shyt was trash and Netflix agreed. Try harder next time :manny:

It just wasn’t that good. The showrunners didn’t get the tone right at ALL and everything suffered because of it. The cast tried their best but the writing and tone failed them
Right.. just purely as a show it was so empty and directionless. It had the cast, visuals, and cool factor but the characters didn't have much to do or say in the episodes.

Didn’t see anyone excited about the “new” storyline they opened in the finale so it just remains a what if of the original series.

The thing about Cowboy Bebop is you just need to see a glimpse of it to tell it's incredibly stylish and hip. The way the clothing looks, the art style, the body types, lighting, etc. Yet the show looks worse than a fan made video you might see on youtube. That blew me away. But it's a perfect example that money doesn't equal quality. All the money in the world can't overcome a wack art design team, meh director, bad cinematographer, etc. It was never gonna match the anime's style but man...they didn't even try. Even the clothing looks bad on the show.

Remember how stylish 300 looked? Sin City? Even Watchmen, which wasn't a great movie but they got the "feel" right. You need actual art design to pull that shyt off. Gotta say Netflix been looking funny in the light to me. Given how much competition they finally have, I don't understand half assing shyt like this.
