It's the hospitalizations that are spooky, that's what most people don't pay attention to, it's why people are so lax towards it. I haven't caught COVID yet, but I still keep up with the hospitalization rate, especially ICU, just incase. I would highly advise staying safe if you are in a dense area, last thing you want is presenting to the emergency room and receiving inadequate care because they are understaffed and overworked, and most importantly, lacking in beds.

Caught Covid for the first time recently.

Few questions:

How can I find out what strain it was? Does it show that on the PCR test results?

Also, how does a person avoid "long Covid"?

why isn't this thread stickied anymore ?

like Covid has gone away or something :snoop:

You ain't posted in here since May, asking why the thread is no longer stickied.

Which epitomizes the thread. It's been dead as fukk for a long while now, aside from a handful of people.

Let's look at some facts here.

July 2nd: 1 post.

July 3rd-4th: 0 posts.

July 5th: 1 post.

July 6th-10th: 0 posts.

July 11th: 9 posts.

July12th: 2 posts.

July 13th: 1 post.

July 14th-15th: 0 posts.

Today: 14 posts, 9 of which are one person.

Thread never should've been re-stickied the first time honestly, and I have no idea who did that. I pointed out how dead these threads are and an admin told me to take them down. So unless an admin puts it back up....it ain't going up.

Covid ain't going anywhere, we don't need an eternally stickied thread that nobody is posting in to keep us updated. You cats can read and respond to the thread just fine without a sticky.

Fred.

How long does COVID last? It's been a week and 3 days and I'm still testing positive. I need to go back work
