It's the hospitalizations that are spooky, that's what most people don't pay attention to, it's why people are so lax towards it. I haven't caught COVID yet, but I still keep up with the hospitalization rate, especially ICU, just incase. I would highly advise staying safe if you are in a dense area, last thing you want is presenting to the emergency room and receiving inadequate care because they are understaffed and overworked, and most importantly, lacking in beds.

Caught Covid for the first time recently.
Few questions:
How can I find out what strain it was? Does it show that on the PCR test results?
Also, how does a person avoid "long Covid"?

You may continue to test positive after you have recovered. You need not wait for a negative test.How long does COVID last? It's been a week and 3 days and I'm still testing positive. I need to go back work
