Brehs I'm incredibly concerned :( I told y'all omicron hit me HARD. Couldn't breathe etc it's now been two full weeks and all the people who got it with me have recovered but I'm unable to breathe :( I had an injury right before I got it and my immune system was very low.

I couldn't breathe at all and was isolated but the symptoms have not left and I am progressively getting worse and worse. Breathing is getting harder and harder and it's been two weeks. I'm very concerned as I am super fit and had the vaccines but now I can barely lift anything or breath properly :( and everyone else has recovered.
get well bro:mjcry:

We’re back to March 2020:francis:
Not really

FOH w/ the fear mongering :camby:
We have vaccines if you feel to greatly reduce your risks of hospilaztion/death, also there are monoclonal antibodies which can treat ppl if they get covid(contact your local health dept to find out which places in your area are providing it).

If you are vaxxed and/or young in decent health(no comorbidities), you shouldn't fear covid, because news flash.... you will likely fukkING GET COVID. :manny:

A zero covid strategy will likely never work.
All these politicians/health officials pushing for restrictions, simply because of cases, those individuals are either very evil for intentionally punishing you or incredibly stupid. :hubie:

I’m talking in terms of restrictions where I’m at, I’m exaggerating a bit but we’re back at 50% capacity, no dancing and most likely a curfew in January

You in Montreal? If not, what city you in?

i remember when it was first reported i was like :rudy: here we go with another swine flu

when china locked down i was like :dwillhuh: feel sorry for the China brehs but we good over here

then my roommate back then started buying masks and told me his boy in the army say this shyt is going to be here soon i was like :ohhh:

but the thing that really got me was that day the stock market plummeted i started researching every day and watching the news and warning everybody i could and they thought i was crazy:damn:
I remember this younger bruh telling me and staff about it. He was new and he was cool his work ethic there was just piss poor, so nobody really took em serious but he was telling us about this corona before we had even heard about it
Man lemme just tell you

The only thing having money will really do is help you if you have long COVID

because that's shyt will have you like a leper at work ...if you can even goto work

This is what people don't realize that you risk your job by getting long COVID you're not productive and you lack focus

And thats not even the other shyt like increasing your chances or cardiac issues

Dudes are playing tough guy saying thier immune system can fight it off naturally while COVID is standing in the shadows like M Bison
What’s the chances of having long COVID? Would it happen to someone like me who’s only had moderate to mild symptoms.

I'm on day 3-4 now from when I first started to have symptoms, my fever is starting to break but these aches and chills are hell's incarnation

Main thing that worried me was having breathing issues but so far nothing. I'm breathing normally and don't have any chest tightness or pain at all
Update:

Going into day 5 now

My aches and chills are gone finally, no more fever at all, appetite is returning though I am still a little rundown energy wise and my muscles feel tired. I feel like I could laydown and sleep for 2 days. But other than that I'm feeling pretty good and will be back to myself in a few days.

This ended up being a mild case overall and I never felt like I was not gonna make it or anything but it was uncomfortable af and something I never wanna go thru again. Days 1-3 were the fukking worst

The situation is evolving in real time. There's no way to know what exactly will happen next.
Me personally this is why i didn’t understand why some people on this board was so confident and just spewing out whatever they said on tv or what read as if it was facts. And none of us knew nothin about Covid. Branding everybody a idiot or maga if they wasn’t just going hook line and sinker with whatever the media said.

i dunno what the chances are if youre vaccincated but if youre un vaccincated your chances are pretty good because there are lots of people that get it and months and and MONTHS later they still have slow recovery - lethargy headaches and heart /cardiac issues
its a new virus so there could be all sorts of issues that can occur down the line into the years - we are only 2 years in.

and by no means am i saying that if youre immunized that means your also free of any worries- you can still contract COVID and be vaccincated ; youre just less likely to be hospitalized or have severe symptoms when you get infected by COVID

contracting COVID and your post COVID health is conditional - and which strain you get may even play a part in what your post COVID health is like...

ther a was some article about how it may be like the chicken pox and just hang out in cells in tissues like the heart and nervous system ( places where your bodys immune system wont really attack because well your heart and nervous system getting attacked by your immune system is bad bad bad news ) anyways chickpox after you catch it and you build up antibodies to it - it just stays with you until one day as you are older and your immune system is not as strong - chicken pox comes back and causes you to have "shingles" which is fukking PAINFUL .....

they say COVID long term might be the same way - they have already had studies that say that people who have core morbidities and contract COVID and survive COVID seem to die within a year from issues from their core morbidities ( ie if you have asthma you may die from a astham attack whre once upon a time you may have only had mild breathing issues with an attack or if you have blood pressure issues or heart issues your chances of getting an heart attack or stroke increase)

and you well know black folk are endemicly suffering from things like asthma and heart/blood issues...so black poele who jump on htis anti vax train - im like :dahell:

anyway i can defintely tell you this - insurance companies and health companies are gonna start either charging you extra because you got infected or didnt get vaxxed or simply dropping you altogether because of the likelihood of you getting sick ( chronically ) or dying since you refused to get vaccinated ...hell i think already they are refusing to pay the hospital bills of people who refuse to get vaccined but then get COVID and go into the hospital ---

if the threat of dying with a tube in your throat by yourself in agony suffocating on your own snot doesnt make you get vaccinated to reduce your chances ...then maybe the pain of getting that 100k hospital bill will....in that case you better hope your immune system IS so great because youre gonna need to to be employed to work off that debt you got for relying on your bodys resolve.

My mom is in home health care and just told me the daughter in law of one of her clients got COVID and didn't even give her a heads up before she went to the house and she was right in front of her :snoop:

My mom is boosted so I just told her I'm gonna get some rapid tests and that she'll be ok. Now I'm pissed at this lady :smh:
I’ve heard so many stories just from people I know of being around someone that was sick who didn’t say nothing until they’re face to face. The sick person will say they are fine it’s just a cold/allergies. Then a few days later the other person pops up with Covid.

One family got into a huge argument cause one of the adult kids flew into town while sick as hell for the holidays. When the family saw he was sick they made him get a hotel until he tested negative. Turned out he had Covid. The family won’t let him see the elderly mother since they want to avoid putting her at risk so he gets pissed and flies back home. I also feel for the other people on that plane cause you know damn well he didn’t properly mask up.

Well there are multiple tools to combat COVID now but at the same time one wrong mutation can destroy everything. Imaging if this newest mutation became more deadly than delta. It would test our limits.
