I’m on day 6 and I feel almost normal (runny nose), day 2-3 was the worst with a fever, body aches, and coughing.

I do have a question, do we isolate ourselves for 10 days from when we first contacted COVID or do we start counting from the day we first started feeling sick?

It's 5 days now

The CDC guidance is all fukked up at this point, I think you should ignore it & dictate your actions based on how you're feeling or try to get a neg test

Power
1/have someone drive you to the er
2/if you don’t want to go there get a pulse pulse oximeter and see if your oxygen is 95 or below, if so do number 1
3/ truthfully if you can’t breathe from your lungs you could have covid pneumonia, put your health and life first and go to the er. If someone going to drive you make sure you wear a mask and make the other person wear a n95. Unless you think you can drive yourself safely.

Go to the ER bro. Especially due to the breathing issues

Okay brehs :(

I am genuinely concerned. Any idea why my symptoms have lasted so long? :(

And are getting WORSE despite me now being negative and out of isolation? I'm now negative but the breathing has gotten worse and worse and worse and my blood pressure is high even if I stand up.

Everyone who got it and gave it to me is now recovered and well. I thought my breathing the first few days was bad and it was the worst but now it's been two weeks and every day it's getting worse and worse.

Why is this lasting so long for me ? I am triple jabbed, gym 4 times a week, average weight, high protein and take all my macros, balanced diets etc. Why is this lasting so long ? And getting progressively worse. It's been two weeks now

:(

I'm really very concerned for first time in my life about my physical health.

I'm 30. No health issues. No weight issues. I feel like someone is standing on my chest and squeezing it. And it's not gotten better. :(

everyone else has recovered. whats going on :(

Brehs I'm incredibly concerned :( I told y'all omicron hit me HARD. Couldn't breathe etc it's now been two full weeks and all the people who got it with me have recovered but I'm unable to breathe :( I had an injury right before I got it and my immune system was very low.

I couldn't breathe at all and was isolated but the symptoms have not left and I am progressively getting worse and worse. Breathing is getting harder and harder and it's been two weeks. I'm very concerned as I am super fit and had the vaccines but now I can barely lift anything or breath properly :( and everyone else has recovered.

You prob fine but to echo what the other brehs said go to the ER just to rule out anything like a blood clot or something, I doubt thats it but better safe than sorry, you may just need some steroids or something, may have gotten some kinda infection

Folks that thought being what they perceive to be physically fit and in good health are getting a wake up call.

Don't get ran afoul by anyone in this thread tryna make it seem like da vaccine is da end all be all and to forgo masking or social distancing. I'm finna order me some N95's as I type this. I've never gone without my mask even with being fully vaxxed (2 shots + da booster) even now. Even I'm not foolish enough to believe that da vaccine is a silver bullet. Especially with this new shyt.

@Actually6Foot3 what do you think?? See, just because you are in great shape doesn't mean if you get covid you won't have horrible effects like this!!!

My gf and all her friends got it on their vacation this week :unimpressed:

Crazy, feels like everyone I know either has it, or is in quarantine because someone their close to has it. Most have no/mild symptoms which is good, and we hope that trend continues for this new variant
