They never were. Now experts have been forced to admit that wearing the equivalent of underwear on your face doesn't really do much at all. Notice medical personnel in COVID wards weren't wearing cute little cloth masks. N95 masks were always the best and really only choice for protection. Any effectiveness cloth masks have is lost immediately because people don't know how to wear, handle, clean or dispose of them properly.

I never wore a paper mask.

I only wore KN95 or N95 throughout and havent caught this shyt yet. Tht is why folks got caught slippin because the doubters/anti maskers were right about these flimsy ass cloth masks folks was/still are rocking. It was better than nothing but when people were STILL catching vid tht had "masks" on, it diluted the image to the point people got lazy and stopped wearing them correctly or at all. This virus is airborne (clings in the air too; for periods of time - stay out the elevators) - with the right mask you can filter out at least 98 percent of the bullshyt.

Yes the mask quality matters. Hit Amazon for the 3M brand. Get yall some air purifiers for rooms in your home, car AND your office too.

yeah. at home joints are inaccurate. My sister took one which said negative (followed instructions and everything). Next day, went to pharmacy for an official lab joint, and it came up positive

U answered your own question. They pushing the anti vaccine folks in a corner. Cutting it in half so it saves businesses from staff loss and my job just sent an email that said u will only be compensated for testing positive if you are fully vaccinated which now means 2 shots and the booster.

Im talking about disposable masks. A properly worn three-ply disposal mask does offer a considerable level of protection…
