When did you have Covid? When did you first get your symptoms? Unless you have tons of family obligations, I’d suggest spending the majority of the day tomorrow sitting your ass down and resting.
Started feeling off a week ago. Really bad on Monday and Tuesday, tested positive twice once Tuesday and once Wednesday, was the worst on Thursday but I feel a lil better today. I hadn’t eaten since Monday. No appetite, just stayed with fluids. I ate twice today, just no energy. I know food helps so I’m forcing myself to eat.

Woke up to my test results finally coming in after 3 days. Positive.

Symptoms started Tuesday. It felt like a bad cold, until the muscle aches, chills and fever kicked in on Wednesday. Oddly enough the no taste/smell thing began on Friday.

I guess that gumbo ain't happening.

Coronavirus can persist for months after traversing entire body

snippet:
Sars-CoV-2 RNA was detected in the brains of all six autopsy patients who died more than a month after developing symptoms, and across most locations evaluated in the brain in five, including one patient who died 230 days after symptom onset.

The focus on multiple brain areas is especially helpful, said Dr Al-Aly at the Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care System.

"It can help us understand the neurocognitive decline or 'brain fog' and other neuropsychiatric manifestations of long Covid," he said. "We need to start thinking of Sars-CoV-2 as a systemic virus that may clear in some people, but in others may persist for weeks or months and produce long Covid - a multifaceted systemic disorder."

My downstairs neighbor, who has covid, has been self isolating for the past two weeks . Dude is like a church mouse and minds his own business .

I'm good but I just got some medicine to deal with the bronchitis I've had for two weeks :francis:

My sister is in town for the holidays from Texas and she's one of those anti vaxers :snoop: Thankfully my mom got vaccinated last month against my sister's wishes :dahell:

Worse is that she works in public health .

Gonna get my booster before Christmas

Bro, I wouldn't even let my nonvaccinated family members come around me. You're better than me.

Damn folks getting this Omarion left and right. My sisters whole family has it. A couple of my friends. Some of my girl’s friends. Luckily everybody been real mild or don’t even have symptoms. I guess if we all gonna get this shyt this is the variant to get
:francis:

Folks are missing what's gonna happen. By this variant being a superspreader, more ppl are going to contract it, giving it a chance to interact with the masses blood chemistry, and mutate AGAIN and there's a possibility that it will mutate into a variant that WON'T be mild. :snoop:

I realize that. We got folks out here whose vaccinated and socially distancing and still catching it. At this point we can only take it one variant at a time and protect yourself as best as possible. Ain’t no more lock downs and shyt happening

I don't believe this. Folks that are vaccinated and are still catching it are not following proper protocols.

And to me, proper protocols are:

Socially distancing, taking care of what you need to take care of and going home, not touching your face when you're out and about, immediately stripping your clothes when you come back into the house and Lysol them and wash them. Whenever you buy something from the store, spray it before putting it in your car and wash it when you get home. As soon as you get home, go directly to the bathroom and wash your hands. Wear gloves when out and about. Keep two masks on at all times.

That's what I do, and I haven't caught COVID (knock on wood).

I believe that the ppl who are catching it are half assing their safety measures.

Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant
:heh:

Like I said earlier I know a bunch of people who who got this Omicron. Only one isn’t vaccinated. And the ones who are don’t really do shyt but go to work and school. They socially distancing as best they can and still catching it
