I'm saying the narrative to fear covid is slowly dying. All of us will likely get it, time to end masks; social distancing, and vax mandates. If you feel that you're vulnerable from covid, you should get vaccinated, but one shouldn't worry if the person next to them on the airplane is vaxxed or wearing a mask.

So basically this variant prolly been here for months. I’m guessing part of this surge is due to Thanksgiving and will continue thru the holidays. But what do I know
They can't stop this and they can't control it. At this point it's up to people to decide how to live going forward. There's a good chunk of our populace that's never going to play ball. They don't really care how this spreads or what happens out there as long as they themselves feel safe. We've passed the point where the political capital exist in the US to do anything about this. Biden's last act on this will likely be the vaccine mandate for work.
