No because now when I go outside when I need to I know I have the extra protection.
It’s the people acting like it’s 2018 that are getting omicron because they can’t sit still.
They’ll ruin it for everyone :yeshrug:

Like people who have to go to work? :skip: You risk getting this variant by literally having any sort of social interaction. Maybe you aren't aware but not everything can be done over the internet. We aren't in the metaverse yet.

Man, woman, and child
I mean you do whatever the hell you want but I'm not trying to hear all this crap about "going back to normal". This shyt is like you sitting at the family table and your uncle raped your little sister and you talking about wanting things to go back to normal. The toothpaste is out of the tube now. There is no going back to the way things were. shyt's likely forever changed from this.

I see it like this there are necessary risk and unnecessary ones. I don't see a reason to take the latter right now. If you do then that's you. At the very least you should stop trying to fool yourself into believing it's not really a risk. There's plenty of news articles about people on their death beds lecturing folks about what they personally should have or shouldn't have done because like you they were in denial about the risk they were actually taking.

Went to a party and before they went they were like I'll be fine. After the party COVID tore through the fam and killed multiple members and they on their death bed in hindsight saying they wish they took it more serious and didn't go.
Of course Covid is a concern. But my daughter said some shyt to me earlier this year like she felt like a whole year of her life has been wasted. Coming from a 12 year old that’s some sad shyt. That is why we wear masks in public and got vaccinated so we can move around as safe as possible while still living life. She has also been much happier this year since they went back to in person learning. This thing is gonna be with us for a while or maybe forever. It might get weaker. It might get stronger. But you only got one life. Live that shyt

I WFH
I'm talking about going to bars, restaurants, movies, and things like that
any travel that doesn't involve getting food, money, or mailing something is unnecessary to me and shouldn't be done

Some of these "people" are legitimately mad that not only do people want to have social interactions again but a means to do so safely now, one they were actively promoting in the face of the anti-vax and the vaccine skeptical. Now all of a sudden it's not enough and we need to live like it's spring 2020 again. Misery loves company breh. I knew from the beginning a lot of these people don't care about health or science or any of that. Some of these people are so emotionally immature and unstable that they look at this shyt as some sort of revenge of the introverts power fantasy. That's why despite being shut in and "away from danger" they still seethe and lash out at anyone that doesn't decide to hide under their blanket for the next 10 years.

Yes, that's TO YOU. A fully vaccinated person has a lot more leeway thanks to the mitigating factors of the vaccines and boosters. It's not spring 2020 anymore. The vaccinated shouldn't be imprisoned until their are zero cases. Most of us got vaccinated so this would be like a cold or flu. And thus far it has worked out tremendously. The risk is minimal at this point. I don't care about getting COVID, I care about dying or being incredibly sick from it. The chance of that happening is a miniscule. If you're fully vaxxed the drive to get groceries is more of a danger than being inside of a bar.

ok keep thinking that
I'll keep doing my shyt
like I said I'm fully vaxxed and I stayed masked up and Lysol up when I have to go out so it's not the same as going to a bar with people unmasked and laughing out loud.

So we should all stay in the house unless necessary till the end of time?
:picard:
if you want to get rid of covid yes. it's the sacrifice people need to make for at least 1 year

Spiderman just broke records over the weekend. :heh: You and WinB are the outliers. Social interactions have resumed. People are enjoying themselves again and you can't stand it. You all need to deal with it.

These guys are as intellectually bankrupt as the worst anti-vaxxers. Just totally devoid of any logic or reasoning. It's a sight to behold.

But people did make that sacrifice and covid is still here. We actually had more confirmed cases at my job when we had the option to telework than we’ve had since we been back in July
