He could just... u know... not get Covid? :ohhh:

Most people who have had Covid are fukking up lets be 100% honest with ourselves.

No one I know who is masked up and not leaving the house has gotten Covid. Its the people who are traveling, not wearing masks, and not eating oatmeal who are infected :yeshrug:

Yeah. Just avoid getting covid for the rest of his life. What are the chances he never ever fukks up for the next 50+ years?

Low.

But if a vaccine is proven to fukk with his pre-exisiting condition, then the chance of him getting a vaccine if he gets a vaccine is a 100% vaccine.

The right answer is for him to wait for a vaccine variant that wont fukk with his current health condition negatively.

You are not even comparing apples to apples here. You are comparing the general populations risk of dying from covid to 18-24 yr old men’s risk of developing myocarditis.
You should be comparing 18-24 yr old men’s risk of developing myocarditis from the vaccine vs covid.
(Not saying which risk is higher here, only critiquing your logic to make it clear)

......there have been 67 cases of heart inflammation in boys 12 to 17 (nine in girls of that age group), 56 in those aged 18 to 24 (six in girls), and 20 in males 25 to 29 (three in girls). That means the risk is quite low.

As far as the unvaccinated risk of developing myocarditis...

In a study published online in May 2021 in JAMA Cardiology, Daniels et al investigated rates of COVID-19 myocarditis among 1,597 athletes from 13 of the 14 Big Ten universities. They observed an overall prevalence of 2.3%, with 9 cases of clinical myocarditis and 28 cases of subclinical myocarditis, categorized based on the presence of cardiac symptoms and findings on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR).

Studies are based on small sample-sizes, but indicative of COVID-19 infection being about 11 times more likely to cause it than the vaccines in people 18-24.

Talk to your primary care doc. Before you get the second dose.
It is important to make sure you aren’t having a bad reaction or side effects to the vaccine.
Also a chance you could be allergic to something else in the vaccination process, you don’t want to mess around with that twice.

Also check that there aren’t any underlying conditions, and even if its “just nerves” that sounds awfully taxing on your system.
Take good care of your health breh.

I mean i still do active stuff like take long ass walks, even physical exercise like biking and shooting hoops so i don't think it's anything serious. I really think it's stress related cause now i feel fine. Plus i'm always using my hands or arms doing stuff so it's nothing too crazy.

I don’t know if it’s me but I took the first shot and my arms get numb and it feels like my heart races more than it usually should. Not sure if it’s nerves but I feel different after taking it. It must be stress related.

This is happening to my home girl but she’s blaming it on an edible this dude gave her 3 months ago. She says it’s still not “out of her system.” But I dunno man

I don't do edibles or smoke, drink and anything of that nature. I'm pretty active as far as exercising goes.

What finally convinced you to get vaccinated?

How is it low when there have been 43 million documented cases in the US so far? That's 13% of the population (nevermind the serological studies that could push that number up to 20%).

Is it reasonable to assume that he'll be able to avoid any contact with another human for 50+ years? I'm not really liking those chances over that length of time.

And let's be real, myocarditis can happen from a general innate immune response and it doesn't last long. So if he's bound to have myocarditis from being innoculated then he's likely to have it even from the common cold.

Covid on the other hand, his heart would have to work harder after being deprived of oxygen and he would have to deal with the same cytokine storm that would give him a worse case of myocarditis. Nevermind the fact that your cardiac muscle tissue also has ace receptors that allow the coronavirus to enter them and do even more damage.
