Need full FDA approval for that and it seems like that's a few years away at best. Notice how they are not trying to give this shot to kids. They are our future it makes sense, we need a perfect vaccine for them and one with no symptoms.

No, we don't. Human diversity makes a vaccine with 100% safety impossible. The best we can do is the greatest protection for the greatest amount of people regardless of age. This is why they're doing trials for younger kids, now....

Right now, Pfizer is undertaking clinical trials in healthy children ages 6 months to 11 years. Children are being studied in three age groups: 6 months to 2 years, 2 to 5 years, and 5 to 12 years.

Moderna is also undertaking a clinical trial for children ages 6 months to 11 years. Johnson & Johnson and Novavax are continuing trials in adolescents between 12 and 17.

The results from the trials in young children are expected to be available in the latter part of the year.

“Pfizer has stated that they think they’re going to have enough data to submit an emergency use authorization for younger children by September,” Blumberg said.
“The turnaround from the FDA once they receive the application to approve it has generally been around 1 month, so perhaps later in September or October we might get approval for use in younger ages.”

Here's the thing. The vaccination doesn't mean you can't still get the virus. Also, the vaccine doesn't protect against the "Delta variant." The Delta variant is 50% of ALL NEW U.S. cases. So...you aren't vaccinated against shyt :yeshrug:

They're pushing these variants out for two reasons I can see.

One, it scares people who aren't vaccinated into getting the shot, so they feel protected.

Two, it scares people who are vaccinated into getting the new variant shot, so they feel protected.

I don't understand and I don't want to understand how people don't see this shyt. They're playing you!

Ehhh not entirely true seeing as the government and drug manufacturers aren’t on the same page right now in whether the booster shot is needed. Pfizer wants approval, but the government says that the shot isn’t necessary right now and they won’t be forced into getting it approved just to appease drug companies.

You're probably right, but I wouldn't be surprised if some BIG pharma lobbyists lines a Senators pockets and all of a sudden, he/she champions an agenda and then the boosters are needed.

I think they’ll eventually be needed once the vaccine efficiency starts to wane I’d say during the either months. According to the government’s mindset, Pfizer’s reasoning for FDA approval doesn’t fly when the statistics say that their vaccine is still effective after a certain period of time. Makes sense actually when you think about it. They just need to get on the same page publicly instead of beefing with each other about it in public before skeptics become even skeptical.

Just say we will revisit the topic in a few months when you have more information to give us and our numbers say the vaccine is losing its efficiency.
