Funny, I did see two pericarditis cases last night at work. Dunno what the contributing factor was since they weren’t my cases. But both were young. I personally haven’t seen many pericarditis in my practice.

FYI this post is not a endorsement of pro or anti covid vax. I just thought that it was ironic that I’m seeing this headline after the cases I heard about last night

Why would I tell people not to get vaccinated if I'm vaccinated myself. That would make me a hypocrite

My opinion about the matter is that the news media should be open and transparent about the potential effects of the vaccine both good and bad while allowing people to make an informed decision about whether they should take the vaccine or not.

I'm not going to sit here and tell people whether or not to get vaccinated as it should be a personal matter and not forced. It should also be confidential information that shouldn't be disclosed unless by choice IMO.

I literally convinced my mom (who was scared to get vaccinated) to get the vaccine and you know what ended up happening? Kroger gave her two different vaccine doses and wanted her to come back for a 3rd one to fix her fukk up. I'm not going to force her to go back when they should did it right the first time.

So you see how confusing that is

How is arguing for honesty and transparency going against vaccines

If someone is experiencing after effects of a vaccination or medication that I took, then I'd want to know in case of the possibility that I know or someone I know experience those same after effects. Information that could potentially save someones life depending on the severity of the issue at hand.

Unless you're perfectly fine with those people potential dying just so it won't scare others away from taking the vaccine?
