A friend of mine is a nurse, she was Anti-Vaxx after the rollout in late 2020. She became a traveling nurse in December and started going being sent to Cali, Texas and other hotspots.
She told me the horrors of being the last face ppl saw before they died. Ppl in their 30's crying and begging for their mama. Dying alone. Certain towns placing bodies in tents because the morgues were full.
She changed her mind and got the shots.
This girl I know got into my DMs last week after I posted my appointment on my IG Story with the caption 'nervous but excited!'
Got a lot of friends who got their first dose tellin me not to worry, it'll be fine, symtoms will come, etc... normal stuff like we got here in the Coli..
And then this girl comes in and is like 'Be sure to always let us know about your vaccination and medical appointments! XO" in a clear sarcastic tone... then I see her story and its anti-vax, anti-lockdown stuff, conspiracy stuff and I'm like

Play that out like it is currently, there’s an existential chance he does die. Or has blood clots. (Both substantially higher than if you were to get a vaccine, for any wise heads). It’s up to him ultimately, but nikkas that say this aren’t account for the societal shift in attitude that will largely be fueled by those vaccinated. 8 out of 10 nikkas could be straight if one person has Covid and is spreading it, but one person that’s just trying to fake and fit in...well he’s gonna be the one assed out
Not to mention, every large sized event has the jurisdiction to not allow for the non vaccinated to partake. It’s just no reason to not get it. A mask doesn’t provide 1/15th of the protection against Covid if someone were in your face and had it. And likely, many won’t be wearing masks by this summer, much less in the fall when immune systems are innately lower.
