I got offered a chance to get a "left over" vaccine from a local pharmacy, that is if they have too many for the day or someone misses an appointment for a shot, they will call me and I can go get the shot. anyone do this? any risk?

it’s all the same. The vaccine has a short shelf life, but it won’t go bad after just a couple hours as long as it is stored properly

I'm no doctor but I don't think it will really matter.

Vaccines don't really change your body's biochemistry like a muscle relaxer or pain killer

I was able to schedule an appointment for Monday at CVS for the Pfizer vaccine. Trying to get an appt was like trying to get retro Js on release day.
