I have a flight scheduled the day after I get my 2nd vaccine dose
Just curious has any one here gotten the 2nd dose yet? Are the fears about getting sick real? Trying to guessimate what's the probability of me being too sick to fly

I know people who have had varied responses

Most say no problems
My mom who has an auto immune disease was sick for 2-3 days then fine
Guy I work with wife had flu symptoms for 4 days then fine.
Heard a couple people say they had sore arm and weakness

I would say overall the benefits outweight putting it off even though you've had the first breh

Looks like I’ll have an opportunity to get vaccinated pretty soon. Benefit of being a federal employee on an Air Force base even if it’s part time... :ehh:

I honestly think they're all the same for the most part as long as we're still taking the same precautions as we are now more or less. I actually wouldn't had minded getting the j&j since it seems to be a one and done, along with protecting against the newer variants :yeshrug:

You're saying you can double up on them though?

Supposedly they are all equal in terms of making sure that we don't end up in the ICU or dying but I like Pfizer and moderna's numbers better.

As far as doubling up on them, theoretically it should not be a big deal but there are ongoing studies at the moment.

I just wanted those mrna joints lol

The data shows the j/j gets better over time. All 3 are very effective
