A “we are untouchable” mindset, combined with pure ignorance and believing nonsense like “it’s like the flu” and “masks don’t help” combined with horrendous leadership at government and state level and people putting their desire to not be uncomfortable “What? I can’t have my yearly Thanksgiving dinner?” “Hey man I need to be at the club..” will be the fall.
I texted mom and offered to come by with a mask on. She said I can get a plate at the door but not come in or stay. I don't blame her.
I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing a mask and being socially distanced. Just don't stay for a long time. You should see your mom. I haven't been near my mom with a mask on for almost a year now
