Wentzville school district where I’m located ended their football season because of covid and the kids didn’t have a way to school because29 out of like 34 bus drivers were in quarantine. The patents are mad because they have to take the kids to school. Not mad because their kids could possibly be infected.

I believe it...when I first started teaching parents were very reasonable to deal with...last couple years before I retired they were more spoiled/ignorant than the damn kids...this goes for my experience with both black and whites parents...dumb ass white stay-at-home moms were the absolute fukking worst...they “know” everything and absolutely nothing at the same damn time

With Trump about to lose I have no doubt he'll make an effort to make the pandemic worse than what it already is.

Coronavirus: Denmark culls 2.5 million mink amid outbreak on dozens of fur farms
Pandemic could threaten the country’s industry, say export bosses

At least 2.5 million mink in Denmark, the world’s second-biggest producer of the animal fur, will be culled because they are infected with coronavirus.

Fur bosses say the outbreak, reported in at least 63 farms, could threaten the country’s industry.

Since the summer, tens of thousands of mink have died or been culled on fur farms in the US and elsewhere in Europe after the disease spread rapidly.

In Denmark, farmers and vets are culling animals on infected farms, while breeders who have clean animals on a farm within five miles of an infected farm must put them down themselves, government officials say.

In Spain, more than 92,000 mink were slaughtered after about 90 per cent of them contracted coronavirus.

Joanna Swabe, of Humane Society International, said: “In addition to fur factory farming being inherently cruel, the potential for zoonotic disease spread, and for mink fur farms in particular to act as reservoirs for coronaviruses, incubating pathogens transmissible to humans, is an unavoidably compelling reason for the world to call time on fur farming.”

Is a dangerous new coronavirus strain circulating in farmed minks?

The Danish government has ordered the slaughter of all farmed mink in the country after the reported discovery of a mutant form of coronavirus in the animals. It has already spread to humans.

What do we know about the situation in Denmark?

According to a report in the Danish newspaper Berlingske, 207 mink farms have seen infections of coronavirus. The authorities have failed to contain the virus, and all 17 million farmed mink in Denmark will now be culled, said Denmark’s prime minister Mette Frederiksen at a press briefing on 5 November. Denmark has the world’s largest mink industry.

The Danish prime minister described the mutated virus as “a serious risk to public health and to the development of a vaccine.” However, health minister Magnus Heunicke told the press briefing that there is no sign yet that the mutant virus causes more serious symptoms of covid-19.

Oh yea check this out. I know a chick who supposedly had a false positive from one of those rapid tests. She works in a hospital so the rapid test was easy to get. Came back positive. Her husband took her to get the regular test two more times and they both came back negative. Turns out she had the flu and got it a week after getting the vaccine

Its the Deacon so :wow:

But ... Specificity and Sensitivity. Two concepts that everyone needs to familiarise themselves with.

That is why normal covid protocols are (were) two tests ...

And you do have the issue of PCR cycles ....
