Hopefully silly season is over and we don’t spend the next 7 months of the pandemic arguing about 5G, Bill Gates, Dr. Fauci, fake treatments, and fighting each other in the streets.

There’s been more mischief making than uniting and problem solving and we will still be on this thread next fall if we don’t get our act together as a country.

People tend to blame the "Man" on events like this because it is easier for them to cope with the shock. That as some point someone will wave their hand and make this go away is comforting to people like this, even if they view the conspiracy in a negative light.

I don’t think we’ve accepted how far in the hole we are yet. I wish this was a government conspiracy and that Covid would just disappear when they say it’s over. Unfortunately that’s not how this is gonna work.
