it's been pretty clear since April that the US government & it's corporate owners have left the public to fend for themselves

I said it before, but like the 08 recession, a lot of folks aren't going to survive this financially due to government incompetence & corporate corruption/greed

Especially since they insist on not passing another stimulus bill before the election. I was reading this morning and it says that another stimulus likely won’t be agreed upon until February if they don’t do it before November 3rd

It’s about to be a cold, hard Christmas for a lot of people

The only way I can see one being passed anytime soon. Is if the ego maniac trump loses and wants to try to make is legacy look great by forcing thru a stimulus bill that is ridiculously good just to somehow end his legacy on a high note. Now I feel like that’s how a normal ego maniac politician would work but I sim think how this one does because he’s a different breed

I was reading about it this morning and both leaders (Mitch and Nancy) are feeling pressure from members of their own party about getting a deal done for election. The economy not wait until February (10 months since the last deal) for another stimulus to get passed. By then, it will be too late as the damage will be done.

Even then, Nancy, Mitch and all those people in Congress will be okay as they have/still be getting paid while we are the ones dealing with the ramifications. They just gotta figure something out and even they know it.

Even if it’s not originally what they wanted/expected the bill to be, just get something done and figure out the rest later. There’s no time left for a perfect bill.

65k new cases in the U.S yesterday. 34k so far today and half of the u.s haven't even reported numbers yet. If we start hitting 80k-100k this winter people are in for a rude awakening and thats exactly how the trajectory is looking
