First 2 times I got tested for 19 I drove up with the first time two cars in front of me and second time I was only car there. So I went last Friday around the normal time 3:00pm. It was probably about 50 cars in the line. So I return yesterday thinking it was a Friday so people were just there, nope it was again about 50 cars in line around 3:30pm. MAJOR MAJORITY of the people in line look Trump supporters. I'm going to go again today after Trump been out and about and see if numbers are still high.

My reckless ass cousin just hit me like "i need you to fly out to NY to do some work" :mjlol:

Breh, I really don't understand how some people think everything's normal now

My cousin just asked me if I wanted to go with him to the rockies on a hiking trip. No, I wouldn't wanna hike on some damn rocks and cliffs like some cac during normal times, why would I get on a plane and do it now :francis:

I know some airlines are letting you reschedule within two years now, so if you get a deal it's worth it. But to just randomly go on a trip now when most countries have hit record highs this week is irresponsible as hell. My cousin lives with my 67 year old aunt btw, and he's already high risk in terms of exposure because he works as border security at the airport :francis:

We definetely need to have some significant progress next year, there is no way that the majority of people will be on board for another "wasted" year with social distancing etc...
Its not a huge focus in the discussion but this whole thing is an extreme mental stresstest for the people and can only be done for a very limited timespan...

UK news: gnashing of teeth

Desperate man resorts to pulling his own teeth out with a set of pliers after being unable to get a dentist appointment due to coronavirus
  • Chris Savage, 42, pulled out two of his own teeth at home in Southsea last week
  • Labourer lost his income during lockdown and couldn't get a dental appointment
  • Portsmouth South MP called Mr Savage's case 'another example of the sad consequences of the Government failing to provide service levels required'

Forget What Ya Herd Immunity ... It's looking more and more like we are stuck with this.

Mink catching the Rona ...

Coronavirus: Denmark culls 2.5 million mink amid outbreak on dozens of fur farms
Pandemic could threaten the country’s industry, say export bosses

At least 2.5 million mink in Denmark, the world’s second-biggest producer of the animal fur, will be culled because they are infected with coronavirus.

Fur bosses say the outbreak, reported in at least 63 farms, could threaten the country’s industry.

Since the summer, tens of thousands of mink have died or been culled on fur farms in the US and elsewhere in Europe after the disease spread rapidly.

In Denmark, farmers and vets are culling animals on infected farms, while breeders who have clean animals on a farm within five miles of an infected farm must put them down themselves, government officials say.

In Spain, more than 92,000 mink were slaughtered after about 90 per cent of them contracted coronavirus.

Joanna Swabe, of Humane Society International, said: “In addition to fur factory farming being inherently cruel, the potential for zoonotic disease spread, and for mink fur farms in particular to act as reservoirs for coronaviruses, incubating pathogens transmissible to humans, is an unavoidably compelling reason for the world to call time on fur farming.”

This. I know some people cope with the situation better than others, but socializing and being in groups is normal human behaviour that cant just be put on pause for years.
Im a natural extrovert and like to be out socializing, meeting new people etc. so right now im on permanent :shaq2: :beli: mode daily.

Sidenote: Im not one of those idiots who is like "Mah freedum, fukk the rules I wanna live my life now !!".
I talked about my experience with (most likely) covid in this thread before and how much that sucked, so im 100% on board in sacrificing some things to get through this.
The measures are absolutely necessary and I support them fully, but Im just being real about the future, this can not be a permanent thing and no, there is no "New normal" (i fukking hate this term).
