You sound like someone who doesn't work in HC.:mjpls:

There was never more people who even met the clinical triage protocols to get tested than the actual number of tests we had. (Not to mention we can get more from sister sites if necessary.)

It's not like we were in danger of running out of kits. :childplease:

In any case, be safe out here in these skreets man. :salute:
I don’t. Have family in HC, state government, Veteran Affairs.

Of course you have more kits than necessary. That’s basic supply and demand of any industry. A KFC restaurant doesn’t order just enough chicken to make it through a super busy day or weekend. And can order more from other nearby KFCs.

They order more supplies than they need. But they don’t order enough to feed every person in a metropolitan city even in the worst case scenario.

The federal/state government is responsible for everyone in the country.

You stay safe too though.

ya man I imagine those who suffered serious symptoms/ailments had prolonged exposure if they didn’t already have an underlying health condition smh
Yea, I was explaining that. It's not the initial Coronavirus that hits you. It's when you keep going out and getting hit with it that it compiles and attacks your respiratory system that it's too late. Even a throat tickle means, stay your ass at home because the next month, that throat tickle will be respiratory failure. We must take this shyt serious.

My gf’s grandma got corona virus. She’s 84 and having a lot of fever and difficulty to breathe.

Anyone know if fever is a good sign and means the body is fighting it off?

I really think this is it. So people living together are in greater risk since they keep passing the corona back to each other.

Explains why some of the medical staff are dying

Would explain why with social distancing and mask wearing some countries have done really well whereas its the high density areas like NY, Brazil, India, Wuhan that are getting hit the most. Not sure about Italy in terms of how dense it is.

Feels like u get a tipping point, if theres too many sick people around then the viral load getting passed around spikes and causes what we are seeing - scary as fukk to see the scenes out of Italy and NY

Maybe its a false hope (like the whole hot summer thing), but I’m hoping the viral load theory is true so that if we minimise our interactions we can get over covid even if we get hit.

My pops whose old has to go to hospital for some tests that he cant put off, got me legit worried :mjcry:

And my mom lives with him so I dont want them passing corona to each other.

At some point its all up to god, we do the best we can do

Anybody else stocking up for that second wave?

I’m getting a big pack of toilet paper every week, and grabbing Lysol spray any time it’s on Amazon.

Im buying toilet paper, hand sanitizer, masks, wipes, and soap at least 2 to 3 times per week. I already gotten a whole year of those supplies already, and still stocking.

When that 2nd wave hits.....I will be ready.

Holy shyt Im loving it brehs

The Uk furlough scheme has been extended by 4 months

What this means Im going to receive 80% of my salary for May, June and July

From August to October, the government will still make some contributions to furloughed employees' wages and the rest has to be paid by the employer.

At this point, the employer might make you redundant but Im not thinking that far ahead :wow:

Congratulate me brehs :blessed:

Update:

Still not been told to come back to work by my employer. Dont know if I will have a job to go back to eventually :to:

Got paid for May and June tho

I need advice. Shall I contact my boss to find out what's going on or shall I leave it

If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
