Can the strain slowly decline over time? Even when a vaccine comes out I’m not gonna get it. I never got one for the last few outbreaks, and I haven’t had a flu shot in almost 2 decades.

Yes it could get weaker and ultimately vanish. It could get worse. The more people it goes through the higher the overall chance of behavior altering mutations, which is another risk of the "let it rip" scenario.

Chances of dramatic changes to its behavior are pretty low ... by all accounts.

All this second wave talk is nonsense now. After everything we’ve seen the past few months, we’re just gonna be dealing with an ongoing pandemic.

We gotta see how bad the death count gets with all these cases. If it’s a steady number then the virus must be declining it strength.

Long term effects to the body are a different topic though.
