i was listening to something today and dude was saying he interviewed a bunch of epidemiologists and they say they all said the second wave for all recorded pandemics in history happens around 6 months (give or take) after the initial wave and is worse and they can't explain what causes it scientifically.

it's not like the virus got more deadly or something in those six months historically. dude's theory is that's how long it takes the human brain to get out of denial and take shyt seriously. given the way things are going, it might be true, although the way things are in this country, i don't think some people will ever be out of denial.

Someone tell me I'm wrong. My coworker last thursday told me her daughter had symptoms of Covid and I told her to keep her distance from me. She told me it's not a big deal and I told her it is a big deal cause i was gonna see my sister and nieces the next day. THIS bytch COUGHED AT ME. I told her, that's it you think I'm playing,you about to get fired and called the manager. She started cussing and told me she will call the cops saying I threatened her. I told her call then cause I ain't do shyt and to take her shyt and go to her floor and stay away from mine. She wouldnt leave, so I said then, fukk the food she was eating and threw it in the trash.

She got sent home, my manager ain't answer but I sent a text of her knocking over my shyt and tellin her what happen and called back 10 minutes later.

The next day I got called from the higher ups about what happened. I told them everything that happened on my side.

Now I'm being told we both getting a write up tomorrow but how is me throwing her food in the trash equivalent to her making up stories about me threatening her, coughing on me (assault) and knocking over my stuff? I'm gonna refuse the write up tomorrow because I think its unjustified but it really is a he said/she said situation.

This is how I feel. I work a government job but get paid very well. Been here for 4 years but all my allies as managers have left and my new manager is a feminist and they're believing anything she says. I always been the type to talk out problems but at that moment I did want to hit her but I kept my composure and my only recourse was to call the manager. Like I said, the problem is, they believe that I threatened her and I told them I never touched or caused physical harm and I'd do a lie detector test and said I bet she won't because she cant explain how I would have threatened her. My mom telling me I need to contact the governors office about this because they aint listening and she put the whole building at risk. I'd rather handle this in person, I never been in this scenario.
