Welp TN is basically back open

Target was so packed I didn't feel comfortable in and there was too many people, IMO, in Lowe's (HAD to go)

:francis: Oh, the mask wearing percentage. If I had to bet in the short time I was out, maybe 10% of non-workers had em on.

I'm not wishing for a second closing.

And you know they ain't shutting shyt down ever again, theyd rather have you in the hospital laid up then out in the streets protesting.

Going to be a long ass year.

If hospitals get overwhelmed again, cities have no choice but to shut down again. If PPE is still a problem, I wouldn't be surprised if medical workers say fukk it and quit. If the government isn't going to protect medical workers, it's a wrap.

The protests just added fuel to the Corona fire.

Plus shyt gonna get extra goofy and divisive in terms of it all being politicised as we get closer to the election. We could be approaching a very volatile tipping point in the United States.

Yup and if cities start to close down again in the midst of protest that’s gonna cause even more chaos.

Crazy how there was a good strech where the news ONLY covered Covid-19, nothing else. Now the news is ONLY covering the protests.

Crazy how as soon as we start getting used to a "new normal" something even bigger pops off. Like @eXodus just mentioned, we're just around the corner from a highly polarized election period too. That's when everybody starts getting extra goofy and we have no idea what's up trump's sleeve for this either :why:

If there is no significant spike in hospitalizations or deaths in the following weeks America will put worries on Covid-19 in trash if it's not already there.

I dont blame the average person though. Too many conflicting and sensalitionalist headlines has people tuning out

It’s already in the trash tbh. If no major spikes by mid-Fall, then the USA is back to “normal” just add in facemasks and some social distancing.
