You can bet your ass that especially favelas this is also being underreported. Especially, with Bolsonaro dumb ass in charge. I really hope he gets caught up in the corruption charges that are pending.
Brazil is terrible country. I know a black person who went to rio on vacation and was shocked by the racial inequalities that still exist in that country. All the people in the streets were dark skin yet when you go in a restaurant it was mostly filled with upper class whites and all the workers were black and was shocked to see another black person actually eating in the restaurant. I feel for those people because its the oppressed classes that suffer the most from this shyt.

that's the scary part
they probably weren’t wearing them properly...every time I go out I see ppl wearing the mask under their nose to breathe better or under their chin to sound clearer when they speak...this includes an asian chic working in the pharmacy department @ walgreens smh...ppl are half-ass wearing these masks and treating them simply as a “fashion accessory” in some instances...in other cases ppl probably aren’t wearing suitable masks and/or reusing them too many times
