Forgotten in all of this virus shyt is the UK left the EU at the end of January

The aftermath of all of this is gonna be ugly. :picard: yall need to be prepared

Folk thought the virus was bad? The depression will be worse. And that’s what it will be. Folk need to stop using recession and stop thinking the rebound will be quick.

Leaving the EU was the WORSE thing the UK could have done. People who voted for it to happen did it for emotional reasons listening to that fukker Nigel Farage's racist bullshyt and didn't even know what the hell it was really about. Now no country in the EU is gonna bail us out of this mess. SMH.

Reminder: 98% of positive cases have mild to little symptoms and only 2% are serious/critical. This is worldwide.

Can @Atlrocafella or any of the brehs who dapped that please explain?

@darius19

@satam55

Where does that 2% come from?

Really? Where did you get those numbers from?

On April 3 2020

Illness Severity

The largest cohort of >44,000 persons with COVID-19 from China showed that illness severity can range from mild to critical
  • Mild to moderate (mild symptoms up to mild pneumonia): 81%
  • Severe (dyspnea, hypoxia, or >50% lung involvement on imaging): 14%
  • Critical (respiratory failure, shock, or multiorgan system dysfunction): 5%
In this study, all deaths occurred among patients with critical illness and the overall case fatality rate was 2.3%.38 The case fatality rate among patients with critical disease was 49%.38 Among children in China, illness severity was lower with 94% having asymptomatic, mild or moderate disease, 5% having severe disease, and <1% having critical disease.14 Among U.S. COVID-19 cases with known disposition, the proportion of persons who were hospitalized was 19%.39 The proportion of persons with COVID-19 admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) was 6%.39

Please remember:

1. There is no classification for moderate on worldometers
2. It only shows CURRENT serous/critical on worldometers - clearly.
3. Recovered does not mean "nothing is wrong with you"

Be unable to read a table brehs ... maybe ...

Aren’t those confirmed cases? I think scientists are sticking with a lower death rate number because they believe millions of people have it or have had it, but they’re asymptomatic or had mild symptoms so they didn’t get tested.

Shooting over COVID-19 dining room policy at McDonald’s near S.W. 8th and Penn

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Three employees were injured after a shooting at a McDonald’s in Oklahoma City over the restaurant’s COVID-19 dining room policy.

Police say it started around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening when a women entered the McDonald’s near S.W. 89th and Penn expecting to be able to sit down and eat. Because of COVID-19, employees told the woman that McDonald’s dining rooms are still closed.

The suspect refused to leave and a physical altercation ensued between the suspect and an employee.

The suspect exited the store briefly, but returned with a handgun.

Police say she fired approximately three rounds in the restaurant.

One employee was hit in the arm, a second was hit with shrapnel in the neck/shoulder and a third employee was hit with shrapnel in the side. Two of the employees are 16 years old, according to police. They were all taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.

Officials tell KFOR original reports indicated there were two suspects, however, it was later determined there was only one suspect.

She was located a few blocks south of the McDonald’s and taken into custody without incident. Her name will be released later on Thursday.

Police say as all Oklahomans cope with the pandemic, they are also thinking about their own safety as they investigate the scene.

“We just take extra precautions for our personal safety and the safety of witnesses, suspects and victims,” said Captain Beck.

KFOR also talked to many of the employees, who did not want to go on camera, as they were shaken up and worried about their friends’ safety.

They say in all, there were about eight employees inside and they all ran for the back door when the gunfire started.

This was reported in the UK a week or so ago
COVID-19 may be tied to rare syndrome in children, UK doctors warn | Live Science

I wonder if its some new strain...

However, it's still too early to say that COVID-19 is behind this inflammatory syndrome in children, Gidengil said. More data will be needed to show this. Indeed, the NHS alert noted the possibility that another, yet-to-be-identified pagothen is associated with the inflammatory syndrome.

I think part of it is that people have a bias to believe that which is in line with the previous beliefs. They want to believe things which make their lives easier.

Take the soundbite "using gloves can be more dangerous" or "masks don't work". People hear those things and run with them rather than actually thinking about it for themselves. They could start at "doctors wear PPE" and work backwards from there to challenge their views but they don't do that.

Why is the general public not taking 25 - 50 hours out of their lives to research the science behind Covid19? That is the question.

Society has failed to train broader society to think logically and to think critically.

Powerful posting :wow:
