Some places said they are extremely pleased with how a vaccine is going and think they could get it here by the end of the year and in mass supply by the spring

Can you blame them? I mean the medical experts say it can take years for a vaccine to be developed but since these scientists are working under severe pressure, there's a chance for mistakes, inaccuracies, miscalculations, etc etc. Think about it. Years to come up with a vaccine from scratch that treats a novel virus and on top of that, human trials that can take months to see if the shyt actually works.
So let me get this straight, you turn on the TV, see someone say, we will have a vaccine in January that will be available and quick to give a sigh of relief and try to go back to normal life?
fukk that I want to see evidence that that vaccine actually works and won't kill me months after taking it.

Yesterday 10 of mine friend's and I went to the County Park with Modelo's, Johnny Walker Black, played horse shoes. And the County Park was full with people running, Children playing, music playing
And we going Hiking in a few hours.
So those who are concern I have not seen one person saying they are letting medical and government officials in their homes to shoot them up with anti bodies or volunteer for vaccine.
People in here talk all that good shyt but when it's time for them to back up with that talk they be like

No I’m not saying this is 100 percent to work but a lot of people here are miserable and actually don’t want to hear any optimism
Yeah that’s the thing. If you’re under 50 and healthy odds are highly in your favor you’re gonna beat this I get it iam one of these healthy people but you still should think about people in your family who are older and/or have pre existing conditions so you don’t spread it to them.
There’s a lot of selfish people out there who want to open things up because there not in huge danger from the virus but don’t think about the people who are who they can spread it to if they get it

some disesases don't even have a vaccine. On the other hand look at ebola only reason the vaccine took years and years to make pharmaceutical companies was that there was no way to recoup development costs

That's just not true. If you came in here with verifiable news of a cure for example people would welcome it.
If you came in here with verifiable news of an effective treatment people would welcome it.
Generally people welcome positive verifiable news. What people in here balk at is agenda driven narratives as they do not bring the conversation forward. In some cases baseless narratives can be dangerous.
There is nothing wrong with challenging dogma. There is nothing wrong with bringing new information to the table. If you do that in a structured, scientific and above all in a good faith manner people will listen.
Willfully and/or repeatedly posting inaccuracies just makes an already protracted and complicated topic even more muddled. Spamming the boards continuously with the same discredited arguments is not the way forward.
